November is here, and our cafeterias are cooking up cozy favorites to keep everyone smiling through the season! From apple slices and sweet potatoes to the return of our delicious peach cobbler, this month is all about comfort and gratitude. We’re also excited to share highlights from our Spirit Week and to celebrate the season with our upcoming November Holiday Meal, a time to enjoy good food and thankfulness together.

Our cafeteria staff brought the fun during our first-ever Cafeteria Spirit Week! From jerseys to pajamas, tacky day, and school colors, our team showed off their school pride in a big way.

🍑 New on the Menu:

🍠 Sweet potatoes aren’t actually yams — they’re two different plants! Sweet potatoes are packed with beta-carotene, which helps your body make vitamin A for healthy skin and eyes.

🍎 Apples float because they’re made up of 25% air! That’s why bobbing for apples works.

🌽 One ear of corn has an even number of rows — usually 16!

🦃 The first Thanksgiving feast likely didn’t have turkey — but it did include pumpkin, corn, and fish.

The 2025 - 2026 Free & Reduced Meal Application is now available. Just a friendly reminder that an application must be completed every new school year.
