❄️Welcome Back, We’ve Missed You

Welcome back and Happy New Year! We hope everyone enjoyed a restful winter break. As we begin the second half of the school year, our School Nutrition team is excited to continue providing healthy, balanced meals that help support student learning, focus, and success each day.

🧸 Toy Drive Thank You

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in our recent toy drive. Your generosity and support helped make the holiday season brighter for many, and we truly appreciate our school community coming together to give back.

🌟 Something to Look Forward To

There’s plenty to look forward to in the cafeteria this month! Breakfast for Lunch will now be offered once a month, with dates varying for Pre-K–5 and grades 6–12. Be sure to check your school’s menu for the scheduled day.

In addition, peach cobbler will be returning to the menu later this month, giving students a sweet favorite to enjoy. Keep an eye on upcoming menus so you don’t miss it!

25-26 Free & Reduced Meal Application. With Higher Income Eligibility Standards this year, your children could qualify!

The 2025 - 2026 Free & Reduced Meal Application is now available. Just a friendly reminder that an application must be completed every new school year. It costs nothing to apply but if approved, your child will receive delicious and healthy breakfast and lunch meals for free.* Click the following link to be directed to the 25-26 application: https://www.lunchapplication.com/.

*The N.C. General Assembly has elected to cover the copay for reduced-price meals for the 25-26 school year.

Good news! You only need to submit one Free & Reduced Meal Application per household—no need to fill one out for each student.
Also, if at any time your household dynamics change you can reapply as often as needed.

Add Funds: Securely add money to your student's lunch account anytime, anywhere, using your computer or mobile device.

View Balances & Purchases: Keep track of your child's meal purchases and current account balances.

Low Balance Alerts: Set up automated notifications to receive an alert when your student's balance gets low, so you never miss a payment.

Set Up Autopay: Ensure your student's meal account is always funded by setting up automatic payments based on a schedule or balance.
