MGSD Inclement Weather Protocols Implemented for Wednesday, January 28, 2026

Hello, MGSD families!

While the sun and temperatures have helped our roads over the last two days, there are still neighborhoods and roads with trouble areas.  Therefore, there will be no school for students on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

• Extracurriculars: All before and after-school activities, sports practices, and school events are also canceled. 

• BASP:  Our Before and After School program will be closed.

• Remote Learning:  Our MGSD remote learning plan will be in effect. Please note that all learning will be asynchronous which does not require virtually meeting with the teacher.

  • Kindergarten - 5th grade:  Students should have their inclement weather packet to work on for January 28, 2026. In addition, check your teacher’s ParentSquare feed for any additional messages.

  • 6th - 12th grade: Students need to log into CANVAS and check their teacher’s ParentSquare feed for additional information on assignments for January 28, 2026.
