Eligibility & Expectations

  • Students should have a minimum 2.0 GPA and fewer than six absences in each course during the previous semester. Prior Loss of Privilege may affect eligibility.

  • Students must provide reliable transportation.

  • Earning credit requires at least 120 internship hours, Canvas assignments, required meetings, and professional conduct.

How to Apply

  1. Review the CTE Internship Handbook with a parent or guardian.

  2. Complete the online application, including a 250–500-word essay about your career interests and goals.

  3. Upload the signed Student and Parent/Guardian Acknowledgment from page 9 of the handbook.

  4. Once your internship site is approved, submit the paper Internship Training Agreement, signed by you, your parent/guardian, and your employer, to Ms. Fazio in Office B225, Magnolia Campus.

Placement is not guaranteed. Need help identifying a potential internship site? Indicate this on your application.
